Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and security of staff and customers within the working environment
• Act as a visual deterrent
• Communicating any irregularities with management.
• Patrolling and securing the area.
• Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
• Responding to alarms within the premises.
• Patrolling the premises regularly to ensure nothing is out of place.
• Liaising with law enforcement in the case of suspected or reported criminal activity
• Performing scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to check for any security breaches .
• Assisting the maintenance staff in securing an area during a maintenance emergency
• Monitoring CCTV systems

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid CA BSIS Guard Card.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Ability to deter anti-social behavior, theft, and criminal activities.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to read and write incident reports
• Must have reliable transportation.
